Our Privacy Principles

Only information necessary to deliver the product or service for which we have been contracted is collected.
Access to confidential information is restricted to those employees who have a need to know in order to provide products or services to clients.

We do not sell or provide customer information to outside persons or organizations for marketing purposes.

Any personal and medical information (provided on an application, report, or claim form) is kept confidential and is not shared with any outside persons or organizations other than for the purpose of evaluating and obtaining insurance coverage, to resolve an open issue, or to administer a claim.

Organizations with whom we work are required to protect the confidentiality of client/employee information in a manner compliant with our high standards.

Individuals providing confidential or personal information are asked to use the greatest care in sending their information to us so that it is securely received.

How Information Is Used

Any information we collect is used to process insurance transactions, including resolution of claims issues, and payment to a contracted vendor or insurance carrier.

Information We Share

To the extent permitted by federal and state law, CCIG may share or exchange information with companies engaged to work with us to effect, administer or enforce an insurance transaction. Under certain circumstances, we may share information with government agencies as required by law.

SMS / Text Message Communications

CCIG uses SMS text messaging to communicate with clients and prospects who have opted in to receive messages. This section describes how we use SMS, what types of messages you may receive, and your rights regarding those messages.

Types of Messages

When you opt in to CCIG SMS communications, you may receive text messages related to:

  • Policy updates, renewal reminders, and coverage notifications
  • Certificate of insurance requests and status updates
  • Claims status updates and follow-up communications
  • Employee benefits open enrollment reminders and informational updates
  • Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
  • Responses to service requests you have submitted to CCIG

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the nature of your relationship with CCIG. For recurring programs, you may receive up to 4 messages per month. Transactional messages are sent in direct response to your requests or account events and are not subject to a fixed cadence.

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your plan.

How to Opt In

You may opt in to CCIG SMS communications by:

  • Completing a web form or paper form that includes an SMS consent checkbox
  • Texting a keyword provided by CCIG to our designated short code or long code number
  • Providing verbal or written consent to a CCIG team member

By opting in, you confirm you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided and consent to receive text messages from CCIG at that number.

Opt-In Confirmation Message

After opting in, you will receive a confirmation message similar to:

CCIG: You are now enrolled in CCIG SMS updates. Msg frequency varies, up to 4 msgs/mo. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

How to Opt Out (STOP Instructions)

You may opt out of CCIG SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After receiving your STOP request, CCIG will send one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. If you later wish to re-enroll, you may do so by following the opt-in process described above.

Opt-out confirmation example: “CCIG: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further text messages from CCIG. Contact us at 303-799-0110 or info@thinkccig.com if you need assistance.”

HELP Instructions

If you need assistance, reply HELP to any CCIG SMS message. You will receive a response with customer care contact information:

SMS Data and Privacy

Mobile opt-in data, including your mobile phone number and consent status, will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. This data is used solely to deliver the SMS communications you have requested from CCIG and to maintain records of your consent.

CCIG does not use your mobile number for any purpose beyond the scope of the communications you have consented to receive.

Supported Carriers

CCIG SMS messages are available on major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support may vary.
