GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. – CCIG, one of the nation’s leading independent insurance brokerages, has expanded its executive team, bringing on John Kirke as Executive Vice President to lead its Employee Benefits division.
Kirke, formerly president of IMA Financial Group’s Employee Benefits unit, will play a key role in driving CCIG’s benefits business growth strategy, including enhancing services and solutions designed to help clients recruit and retain top-tier talent and better manage overall healthcare costs.
Kirke brings more than 25 years of experience in the employee benefits and insurance industry, including work at one of the nation’s largest health insurance companies.

A graduate of Drake University’s College of Business and Public Administration, Kirke has participated in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Foundation program, served on the Denver Metro Chamber Health and Wellness Committee and various regional and national insurance advisory boards and councils.
Founded in 1985, CCIG has doubled its workforce in the past five years, growing at an average rate of 15% a year and employs 95 insurance professionals.
