GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. – CCIG’s financial performance, its company culture and investment in technology have earned it one of the insurance industry’s top recognitions, the MAX Performer award for the West Region.
As one of the Rocky Mountain Region’s fastest-growing independent commercial and personal insurance brokerages, CCIG won the award based on its innovative mind-set and client-first approach.
The MAX Performer is awarded by MarshBerry, a consultancy and peer-exchange network that focuses on leadership development, mergers and acquisitions and helping companies in the financial services field manage their growth and otherwise improve their operational performance.
“New business generation, attracting and retaining top talent and managing an ever-changing technological landscape are common challenges for the insurance industry,” MarshBerry said in announcing this year’s award winners. “This award recognizes those agencies rising to that challenge.”
Founded in Greenwood Village, Colo., in 1985, CCIG specializes in risk management services and offers group health benefit plans as well as commercial property and casualty insurance. The firm has doubled its workforce in the past five years, growing at an average rate of 15% a year and employs 95 insurance professionals.
CCIG also has won repeated Best Places to Work and Top Workplace awards and has been recognized as a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
The company is about to move to a new headquarters in the Denver Tech Center with space to accommodate an expected workforce of about 175 people.
