December 10, 2018

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. –  CCIG, one of the nation’s leading business insurance brokerages, has expanded its executive team, naming Andrew Mahoney as Executive Vice President.

CCIG EVP Andrew Mahoney.

Mahoney, who had been CCIG’s Middle Market co-Director of Sales and Associate VP, will play a key role in enhancing the firm’s client-service offerings, as well as driving CCIG’s growth strategy.

His appointment is part of a long-term growth and succession plan for CCIG, founded in 1985.

“This is really an exciting time for CCIG,” Mahoney said. “We have one of the best employee- and client-retention rates in the industry. I think that says a lot about who we are, about our values, and what’s really important to us. My objective is to simply help us do more of the same and find ways to accelerate our growth.”

CCIG has doubled its workforce in the past five years, growing at an average rate of 15% a year and now employs 95 insurance professionals.

The brokerage has won repeated Best Places to Work and Top Workplace awards and has been repeatedly recognized as a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.

CCIG helps its clients manage their long-term cost of risk, creating risk management and insurance programs to protect their business and personal assets.
