GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. (Aug. 8, 2016) – Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America has named CCIG one of the nation’s top independent insurance agencies based on revenue growth and other factors.
It was the seventh time that CCIG has won IIABA’s Best Practices Agency designation, based on an extensive review of its financial and operational data.
IIABA and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management-consulting firm, measure agencies based on 33 performance factors to determine which firms are awarded a Best Practices Agency designation.
There are more than 37,000 independent brokerages nationwide. Nearly 1,800 agencies submitted their data in hopes of winning IIABA’s annual Best Practices designation this year. Just 254 scored high enough to win recognition.
IIABA launched its Best Practices program in 1993 as part of a drive to improve agency performance. Revenue growth is only one of the performance factors examined.
“To take your agency’s performance to another level – to go from good to great – you have to continue not only to grow but also continue to improve the job you do for your customers, improve the quality and capabilities of your employees, and provide to your employees the carrier relationships, the tools, the resources and the organization needed to serve your customers,” IIABA said.
