ENGLEWOOD, COLO. – Andrew Mahoney has been promoted to President of CCIG, a leading and fast-growing independent insurance and employee benefits brokerage.
Mahoney joined the firm in 2014 as an Insurance Advisor working primarily with larger commercial real estate and construction industry clients. He eventually led the firm’s commercial insurance division as Director of Sales, then become CCIG’s Executive Vice President.
In his new role, Mahoney oversees CCIG’s corporate strategic planning, specifically focusing on driving the firm’s sales growth while enhancing its client-service offerings.
“It’s a new year, a new decade, and a new era for CCIG,” CEO Brook Mahoney said. “We’re really on the threshold of an exciting period of growth and opportunity, and with Andrew as president and other leadership changes we’ve made, we have a very strong team to manage that growth and ensure the highest levels of client service.”
Andrew Mahoney began his career in Chicago as a management liability wholesale commercial broker for RT Specialty. From there, he moved into a middle-market commercial underwriting role for a national property and casualty insurance carrier, The Hartford.
Founded in 1985, CCIG has doubled its workforce in the past five years and now employs 99 insurance professionals. To accommodate its growth, it relocated its headquarters last year, moving to a 45,000-square-foot building overlooking Interstate 25 that is more than double the size of its former home.
CCIG has been repeatedly recognized as a Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
