Reporting Made Easy

If you experience a loss and are unable to reach a CCIG team member, the following information is provided to help you report your claim information directly to your insurance carrier:

  1. Locate your policy number, if possible.
  2. Contact your carrier directly at the number listed on the policy, or by accessing the after-hours insurance claim telephone numbers provided below.
  3. Notify your CCIG service team member of your claim on the next available business day so that we can work with your insurance carrier to ensure that all of your needs are met.

Property

If you have experienced a loss which involves property, please take the necessary steps to keep damages to a minimum. Steps may include boarding up windows, securing valuables and exercising all reasonable means to protect, safeguard, and salvage property. Keep all of your receipts and do not undertake any actual repairs until you have spoken with a claims adjustor.

Auto

If you have experienced a loss which renders your vehicle undriveable or serious bodily injury is involved, secure the name, address and phone number for all parties involved, report the incident to police if necessary. Secure photos of the area, if possible, and have your vehicle moved to the nearest secure storage lot. If you are unsure of rental car benefits, inquire when reporting your claim.

Bodily Injury Liability

If someone, other than an employee, has been injured on your property, secure the name, address and phone number for all parties involved, including witnesses. Secure photos of the area, if possible. Do not speak with anyone other than CCIG, local authorities or your insurance carrier.

To Request a Certificate of Insurance

A Certificate of Insurance is a summary document that verifies a policy has been issued to an insured for a general type of risk. It provides policy details on your insurance coverage, verifying that you have the insurance you claim to have. It summarizes information such as your or your company’s name, types and limits of coverage, the name of the issuing insurance company, your policy number, and the policy’s start and expiration dates.
